Estranged Memory Series

A series of paintings dealing with sequential memories and their symbologies.
The canvas parallel to our brain collects the paint, like memory, in a cumulative manner, with each layer growing thicker, difuse, conflicted and contamined.
An ambiguous reflection on personal experiences that allows the viewer to find itself in it, questioning and searching through symbol and abstract shapes.
Ultimately this series of paintings offer a translation into the subconcious, the conflicted, afections and fundamentally identity.

Memória Distante

Esta série de pinturas trata a memória sequencial e as suas simbologias.
A tela paralela ao nosso cérebro recolhe a tinta, como a memória, de forma cumulativa, cada camada ficando mais espessa, difusa, conflituosa e contaminada.
Uma reflexão ambígua sobre experiências pessoais que permite ao espectador encontrar-se nela, questionando e pesquisando através do símbolo e das formas abstratas.
Em última análise, esta série de pinturas oferece uma tradução para o subconsciente, o conflito, o afeto e, fundamentalmente, a identidade.
